This jersey is only available to the 'Beast' riders who can prove that they have completed an ''Everesting'' ride. A great addition to the 'HAUT ROULEUR' series.
That is to say.....one single ride, on a regular bicycle, that is not powered by any other means than the rider
Available for 45 euros (plus post) this jersey will be for sale early 2019. Please note that only 12 will be made to start with as the market for this jersey is an unknown. Of course, I will be keeping one for myself and hope to wear it after May 2019!

This is great value for money so do put the word out as to what I am trying to do. It may not be for you but you ma know others that are not thinking straight!!!
Fancy Everesting with other like minded riders on a quadruple circuit on ridiculously quiet roads with support, a great cafe for coffee stops that sits RIGHT NEXT to a bike shop?
Is there a market for this type of thing? Well, I am putting this out there to see.
Some 12k from my house there is a tiny village called Bessines that has the above shops.
You'll gain 353m just riding to where I will set up a gazebo with table and chairs where all 4 loops meets. Besac Sur Rivalier. This would be the HQ for the event.
There is a high point (667m) that has 4 differing roads leading to it. The quad loop can be used in such a way that you can choose a steeper route (some 9 and 11% sections) when feeling good and a lesser one if you want to gain the same altitude but over a longer distance. A 91km (all 4 loops) gets you just over 2100m. Add the ride there and the ride back to base and you should Everest in around 380km. I am guessing that will take around 16 to 24 hrs of riding depending on the rider.
On the day, riders will be spread out in no time at all and can join one another here and there as the mood/pace takes them. I will join in on a few loops when I have a helper to keep HQ manned.
The dates are set in stone as this is a our very busy period for the B&B and Mrs G has allowed me to try this unusual step of having cycling here in the height of the summer. A fair bit of the loops are in the shade as there are many forest sections throughout.
