TERMS & CONDITIONS OF YOUR CYCLING HOLIDAY
1. RESERVATIONS and PAYMENT TERMS
A 50% deposit is required at the time of making your booking to reserve your place. The balance will be due 6 weeks prior to the start date of your stay with us. The preferred means of payment is via Transferwise. You can also make payments at Nat West Bank in the UK or LCL bank in France to make other bank to bank payments. Contact us for details.
Famous Cycling Cols reserves the right to cancel your booking if the final payment has not been received by the relevant due date. Please get in touch if you have any difficulties in making your final payment. A reminder to pay any balances due will be sent out 7 weeks prior to your stay with us.
2. THINGS WE CAN CONTROL:
You must wear an approved cycle helmet on ALL rides. We must insist that every rider wears an approved cycle helmet on all our trips. Please get a good understanding of the road rules for the country you are riding in with us at Famous Cycling Cols
You must follow the instructions of Famous Cycling Cols staff and management at all times.
You agree the following:
That you are physically fit and there is no health or other reason why you should not participate fully in the our training camp or other cycling event
Should you bring your own Bicycle and/or Helmet, Famous Cycling Cols reserves the right to inspect the equipment to ensure it complies with Regulations. And to endorse or refuse the use of the equipment for the duration of the trip.
3. THINGS WE CAN’T CONTROL:
Famous Cycling Cols shall not be held responsible for any event outside of its control which may include but is not limited to collisions, inclement weather, rough conditions, illness, injury, loss or damage to your property or the property of others, airline delays or cancellations, or faults or failures by providers of accommodation, tourism activities or transport.
Famous Cycling Cols reserves the right to cancel any trip, for any reason, at any time prior to 30 days before departure date. In this case, FULL refund of any payments received from the client constitutes full settlement.
Due to circumstances beyond our control, Famous Cycling Cols may have to make changes to the stated itinerary.
4. EQUIPMENT & BELONGINGS:
Equipment supplied by Famous Cycling Cols and used on the cycling trip/camp/event should be used in a safe and proper manner.
You are required to take reasonable care of your own personal effects.
It is your responsibility to ensure that any equipment belonging to Famous Cycling Cols provided to you for the duration of your trip/camp/event is at all times not left unattended unless it is secured in an appropriate manner.
You will not make a claim against Famous Cycling Cols or its officers, employees or agents in respect of you taking part on one of our cycling trips/camps/events including
a. any injury or loss suffered by you or others
b. any damage or loss to any of your property or to property of others regardless of how the injury, loss or damage occurs.
You indemnify Famous Cycling Cols against all claims, damages or losses (including costs) which it occurs as the direct or indirect result of your taking part of the cycle training camp/sportive/other cycling event.
6. TRAVEL INSURANCE
You are required to have suitable travel insurance. This must include cover for cycling related actives, the costs of medical treatment, and repatriation in the event of a serious accident or illness.
We are a family run business and DO NOT want to keep hard earned monies from our clients. But, if a client cancels with 30 days (or less) before the start date, we will have to keep back 50% of the total sum of your stay. We do ask clients to try and find another to fill that spot and we will do the same. If either party is successful in finding a replacement the deposit will be returned.
In the event of another pandemic/lockdown then 100% of monies received will be returned to the client within 72 hours
